As a dreamer and trailblazer I lend to the optimistic side of things. I am looking forward to the future. I am excited about this God idea for starting Hannah’s Hope and I have so much faith and belief in it. I did not realize how much subtle opposition I would face from the people around me that know of my dream or don’t know at all. Its in the “safety” statements (as I like to call them) people say that cause me to wonder if anyone believes in dreamers anymore?
I am not advocating for recklessness but I am advocating for the dreamer. I am advocating for the person with the next business idea that may seem crazy, I am advocating for the next invention that has yet to be created, I am advocating for the non-profits that have yet to come to life. I am advocating that we all try to support each other a little more. Trailblazers usually go first which means there are not very many people out there doing what we are doing. Truth be told, some people don’t like taking risks and that is okay but for the ones that do, let them jump and let them fall or soar. I promise we will be better for it. I wouldn’t be so eager to jump if the timing wasn’t right but now it is.
I get fired up when I see that I am surrounded by world changers who question themselves because someone has said, “You can’t do that” “You are not qualified enough to do that”. So to all my dream crushers…my question is WHY NOT? Why the heck not?
We can change the world. We can do things that impact our community. We can work for companies with a great cause. We can reach people and show them the love of Jesus. We CAN & We WILL.
My point is let the dreamers dream. Let us try, let us fail, let us succeed, let us soar. Not many are plagued with the desire to want more and to be more, while possessing ambition to accomplish their goal. Don’t stifle that passion, I beg of you.
